Deliveries and Returns Policy



If we have the goods in stock, we will do our very best to despatch the same day for Goods ordered before 12 midday.

The FD110 and FDP110 Retail scale we always have in stock and it is very rare that we dont ship these even when the order comes in at 3pm - so its always worth calling us. We have even been known to go the extra mile and take it to the carriers depot after work if you are realy desperate (for an additional fee to cover the fuel!)

In general, for goods ordered after 12 midday, the goods will be despatched the following day.
Where a custom build platform has been ordered, the lead will will be 3-4 weeks from order and you will be advised as to the delivery date.

Where applicable - the lead time is against the product.



Returns Under Warranty
All of the goods sold over the internet or on account by PWS Ltd carry a 1 year return to base warranty. This means that if a fault appears with your product within 1 year of purchase, you can send the goods back to us (customer to pay the carriage charges) and we will investigate the fault. If the fault is found to be not through customer damage or mis-use we will repair the unit and send back to you.

Returns of Faulty goods on receipt
All goods are quality checked before they leave the factory. If your goods are faulty on receipt, this is likely to be an 'In transit' issue. Please complete the form below and send the goods back to us in their original packaging within 5 working days of receiving the goods (date signed for + 5 working days). We can only replace faulty goods on this basis if we are notified within this time frame and no goods will be replaced outside of this timeframe or without the original packaging. It is the customers responsibility to check goods on receipt for any transit damage. 

Returns for other reason
If you change your mind about your purchase, please return the unused goods to us within 14 days, and we will offer you an exchange or a refund less a re-stocking fee of £15 + vat If the scale was trade stamped, this fee will not be refundable as this comprises a service not a product.

This does not affect your legal rights.

This re-stocking fee also applies for orders cancelled or ammended prior to despatch that have been assembled ready for trade stamping or despatch. If the trade stamping has already been carried out - this fee will not be refundable. If returning after delivery, please ensure the product is in its original packaging and despatched to us via a suitable carrier service.

Once the goods arrive with us, they will be inspected and once found to be in a suitable condition the above will apply and provided they are in 'as new' condition, a replacement will be sent or a full refund will be given via the payment method in which original payment was made - This will be actioned by us on satisfatory inspection of the returned goods and the funds allocation will then be in the hands of the payment provider.
