The range has now been extended to take advantage of the latest microprocessor technology, whilst retaining the inherent qualities of the mechanical machines.

The 1000 Micro is a single headed gross weigher with a specially robust frame to take the heavy duty precision load cell weighing mechanism. The proven bagging attachments from the mechanical machines are suspended from the load cell. These are interchangeable for open bag, valve sack and carton filling.

A choice of three controllers are available to suit customer requirements, up to R61 European Approval.

As with the mechanical machines, the Micro 1000 is available in mild steel or 304/316 stainless steel construction with paint or epoxy finish on the mild steel machines. The 1000 Micro is available in Standard or Major Plus specifications as follows:

Major Plus added features

Full enclosure of the main frame, sack support frame bearings and electrical control box.
Fully enclosed feed tube with dust free bag clamp.
60º crevice free contact section.
Automatic start cycle.

2 speed vibratory or auger feeder instead of the standard electrical or pneumatic shut off valve. Feed hoppers with level indicators. Dust extraction kit for connection to a dust collector. Machine height variations. Automatic pneumatic bag clamp.

Following product trials and the acceptance of our recommended feed systems, the accuracy of the load cell and controller will ensure results well within the current Weights and Measures legislation.

The versatile 1000 Micro is suitable for modest production rates with typical throughputs of 6 x 10kg, 4 x 25kg, 3 x 50kg weighments per minute, depending on the model, product, bag type and operator handling time.
